I have to assume a diff constant. I'm taking this one from the Gear FAQ page:
Diff Const.= 0.23622047 for a Modul ZFWZ 250x2.5 hobber.
gearing decimal ratio = Diff Const. x SIN(HA) x NDP / Hob starts
diff gears= 44/46 x 55/31
interpret this as:
44 - first driver
46 - first driven
55 - 2nd driver
31 - last driven
