We use TK solver and many times it can't get close enough with a 4 gear index, especially prime numbers. If you have a face width of 1" and an index error of .00005, and a feed rate of .02 that's a lead error of .001. If the lead screw is worn then that also contributes to the error. I replaced the lead screws with new precision stock. I always use a 6 gear train and logarithms.
