I would like to start a thread about what spiral bevel cutters are most popular or most used.
You know, the cutters that wind up spending the most time at resharpening.
I'm thinking mostly about cutter number, but diameter, point width, etc. as well. And if you know of sources for these cutters (new and used) that would be most helpful.
This is an open question about cutters, so feel free to express your thoughts and opinions - but please try to stay with cutters used on Gleason machines.
Please open a new thread for non-Gleason machines and the cutters, methods, etc. I think that would make a great topic.
If anyone is using Gleason's Unitool method and cutters I would really like to get your thoughts
about how you are selecting and using cutters.
