you can work out the index ratio.
Put any 1:1 ratio gears in the index gearbox.
count the number of revolutions of the hob spindle for 1 rotation of the worktable.
there lets say the hob spindle rotate 16 times for one rotation of worktable = 16/1 ,this is the index constant 16/teeth to be cut.
