We have a Gleason 26 hypoid generator and use Versacut cutters. We currently only cut spiral bevel gears and have never tried cutting a hypoid. From what I have looked up, I have not found a hypoid that is cut with a versacut method cutter. Is it possible to cut a hypoid with a versacut method cutter? What cutters would be needed? The calculating instruction book that I have mentions Toprem cutters.
