The formula for calculating change gears for the rack attachment is: Number of teeth in cutter/DP*4. Metric: Number of teeth in cutter*(5*Mod)/4*127. I no longer have the machine and the manual does not mention the number of teeth in the pinion, but you should be able to work it out from the pitch of the cutter centre distance from the rack and test it with the above formula.
