Problem with cutting Bevel Gear

Were not to proud to ask for help. Were stumped!
Were cutting a 1 1/2" spiral bevel gear on a Gleason 106 and were getting some real narrow flat spots about
.030" wide on the teeth aprox 9 per tooth. It's more cosmedic then anything. The step is approximately .00005 high. I can email a picture to you if
that will help. Weve changed cutters, couplings, new bearings in the assemblies...hmmmmm... any old retired Gleason men out there to help?
