Hello,I have a lathe that I'm trying to get outfitted it is a HENDEY 14X30. I'm wondering if it is feasible to make a gear that will mesh with the leadscrew. I want to make a threading dial as this machin came with out one. The leadscrew is a 6tpi Acme . I also want to set this lathe up to thread metric threads. This is the ideal machine to do this with as you can control the direction of the feed by a lever on the apron and you never have to unlatch the splitnuts. Can someone tell me the transposing gears needed, if not what additional info is needed. Thank you, Ugo.
