hi i am a student doing a design course and have been tasked to design a gear box given certain conditions.
i have managed to come out with the dimensions of the gears, shafts, fasteners and bearings to be used. i was wondering if you will be able to use the above software to draw the relevant parts.
components - 2 spur gears, 2 shafts, bearings and fasteners
gear ratio 3:1
Pinion:
face width=60mm
module=4mm
teeth=15
pitch dia=60mm
addendum=4mm
dedendum=5mm
clearance=1mm
circular pitch=12.566mm
bore=28.4mm
Gear:
teeth=45
pitch dia=180mm
face width=60mm
addendum=4mm
dedendum=5mm
clearance=1mm
circular pitch=12.566mm
bore=148.4mm
Shaft:
length of each of the 2 shatfs = 160mm
gears arranged mid-point of shaft
Key:
length of key1 on shaft1 = 15mm
length of key2 on shaft2 = 35mm
Bearing:
bearing for shaft1 = 16mm
bearing for shaft2 = 20mm
fasteners:
M12x1.75
would appreciate if you could help me...
thanx
