I am cutting 7DP 20PA 30degree right hand helix with a dble thd left hand hob on a BC 16-36 with differential. My machine has a 7.5/lead differential constant. I am using 43/62 25/83 differential. The hob is .005 thin.

every time I feed down it cuts only on 1 flank of the tooth leaving a small step. What's wrong?
