CPC-TMILL is fast and simple to use. Be assured that change gear sets
will be the best ratio match available from your inventory and will fit at the machine. Just by eliminating scrap and
return trips to the computer, CPC-TMILL will improve your productivity.
Select the target thread milling machine, enter your thread specs, and CPC-HOB displays all thread and cutter specifications and a complete set of change gears. Switch easily between Inch and Metric.
Use it during your quote phase to avoid surprises and unforseen problems. Identify jobs requiring special tooling (as you know, customers have been known to send out "difficult" jobs).
CPC-TMILL's unique features at a glance:
Easily specify thread from eight English/Metric thread and worm systems
Choose from NDP, NCP, AxCP, MODULE, or TPI. Inch or metric system.
Dimension sheet is also useful for determining thread specs from samples.
Switch between Metric and English units at any time
Thread milling machines are easily listed in CPC-TMILL for setup selection
Configure CPC-TMILL for each of your machines based on each machine's design and operation.
Enter different thread lead formulas for each machine whose lever settings can select different lead formulas.
Lead formulas are entered in plain English for ease of use.
Also add any number of Auxiliary gear set pairs for each machine that uses Auxiliary gear sets.
Enter Pitch and machine's fixed shaft CC distance to assure that change gear sets will fit machine.
In other words, you can model CPC-TMILL to each of your machines for succesful first-time machine setups.
Four-gear change sets are calculated using primary formula by default.
User can select a different formula and different auxillary change gears when CPC-TMILL recognizes the need.
In other words, CPC-TMILL warns the user when change gears will not likely reach or fit, and
suggests an alternative lead formula and/or a different Auxiliary gear set.
Calculates the correct machine cutter angle setting and all specs for cutter
Typical formula used for machine angle setting is approximate. CPCTMILL uses the exact formula for best accuracy.
Includes all dimensions for selecting or designing the cutter (depth, point width, and minimum body width).
Quickly determines accurate lead change gears
Accepts a separate partial change gear inventory for each machine. Accepts Auxiliary change gear inventory.
Determines over pin thread measurement
CPC-TMILL defaults to Van Keuren pin size, or user can specify pin size. User defines Min/Max backlash specification.
Nominal (0 backlash) measurement is produced by default. Number of pins is automatically indicated.
Print out complete dimension and machine setup
(worm specs, over-pin measurement, gears, cutter set angle, cutter specs, etc.) in either inch or metric system.
Comes complete with on-line context sensitive help screens
As you move from input to input, the F1 key "keeps up" with you.
F1 always displays help and suggestions for the current input.

How do I obtain a license and activate the software?
The updated ID and Activation key pairs are all numerical.
Where do I find the COMPUTER ID NUMBER?
Be sure you have installed the demo on the computer where you intend to run the software.
The ID Number is different for each PC.
Start up the demo and select "READ & ACTIVATE". Then select "I AGREE".
The next screen displays the ID number for the software on your computer.
What is an ACTIVATION KEY?
An activation key is a string of characters that, when typed into the activation screen, turns the demo into a
fully functional software solution. Also, all future software updates
will respect the activation key on the same PC.
You may install and run CPC software on a Local Area Network system, but the license and ID Number (and its Activation Key) will correspond only to the workstation from which you run the software.
Test the demo, ask questions, and/or
request a free setup
for your machine and your gear specs before you purchase a user license. We want you to be satisfied and
convinced that CPC-TMILL meets your requirements and makes you more productive.
