I am flycutting a multi start wormwheel to mesh with a concave/Cornelius type worm for a vintage car drive.
I cut wormwheels regularly for standard parallel worms with no problems.
I am using the smallest worm diameter and pitch for the diff calculation but the helix angle is incorrect. I am cutting a sample to try and get it right. I am experimenting with tool rotation settings and will try a new diff calculated from an increased lead.
Any comments on setting of the tool and diff calc would be appreciated. Thank you.
