On the machines I know about, as the blades are sharpened more and more, you compensate for it by bringing the cutter head forward axialy. This position of the cutter head is set using a gauge block. You use the same gauge block for both cutter heads, their diameters are similar, no step is being produced.
How do you set the axial position of the cutter heads on the 104 machines?
